Ipswich Borough Council, Suffolk County Council and Suffolk Police have joined forces with other agencies to blitz crime and anti-social behaviour in Ipswich for a week from July 4th.
Selected areas of the town will be targeted to tackle graffiti, vehicle checks, litter enforcement, truancy and trading crime.
We cannot say more at this stage but will report back on the results of this initiative soon. With more than 70 officials involved the blitz promises to have a real impact in Ipswich communities.
