Former Special Constable Phil Green is getting RESPECT in Ipswich

Ipswich has secured 'RESPECT' status which enables us as a leading authority dealing with anti-social behaviour to secure more government funding for our innovative schemes.

This has resulted in Ipswich securing funding for two Assertive Outreach Workers These officers will identify parenting issues and the support required to deal with them in order to prevent children form getting into trouble.

Ipswich has also secured funding to train 20 people in delivering parenting.

These and further initiatives to be announced are making a constructive contribution to tackling the causes of anti-social behaviour.

Lib Dem Cllr Phil Green is responsible for Community Safety at the Borough Council. As a former Special Constable he is uniquely placed to deliver innovative and practical solutions to take community safety seriously after it's neglect under Labour.

Phil is spending more of his time dealing with the new prostitution strategy. More news to follow soon.
