Ipswich makes sure it gets the most from it's social housing

The average time that an Ipswich Borough Home stands empty between lets is only 14.5 days and there can be as few as 23 out of 8,500 homes empty at a given time. The Government's own target for turning round lets is 21 days so Ipswich Borough is well within that. This is despite the fact that accommodation has to be made fit for an incoming tenant, sometimes in difficult circumstances.
