Major change to waterfront roads

Key Street is set to become Pedestrian friendly
Fore Street, Salthouse Street, Key Street and College Street could become single lane as part of a radical plan to improve pedestrian access to the Waterfront area whilst providing better public transport for road - users.
The busy Key Street roads have long discouraged pedestrians from making the most of the Waterfront area. Ipswich Liberal Democrats are very keen to see change but are making the case strongly for improved public transport, particularly between the South-East of the town and the Centre, a route taken by much of the road traffic coming through Key Street.
