95% of Ipswich Dentists not taking on NHS patients

Cllr. Andrew Cann has followed up the shocking survey which found that over 90% of people in the Norwich Road area of Ipswich were having difficulty finding a NHS dentist.

Further investigation reveals that the local NHS admit that 95% of dentists (19 out of 20 sampled) in the area are not taking on NHS patients at the moment.

Only one dentist is.

Of the remaining 19, 17 are unable to say if and when they will take on more NHS patients, with 2 saying January and April next year.
