Ulster Avenue getting facelift - thanks to Lib Dems

Whitehouse Lib Dem Cllrs. George King, Tony James and Steve Williams
Ulster Avenue shops on the Whitehouse Estate are getting a 20 week facelift in order to improve their appearance and lift the area. Local Cllr. George King said: If we have clean and tidy shops then hopefully people will respect the area a bit more. We have had problems in the past with groups of youngsters hanging around being intimidating and drug users gathering at the back of the shops. We have worked closely with police and we have been able to nip problems in the bud". George has already battled to get CCTV in Ulster Avenue which has helped matters. Lib Dems in Ipswich continue to be vigilant to anti-social behaviour.
