1 in 40 Iraqi's killed since invasion

Respected Medical Journal The Lancet has today published a report outlining that tragic consequences of the coalition invasion of Iraq. The report can be found in entirety at: http://www.thelancet.com/webfiles/images/journals/lancet/s0140673606694919.pdf
In summary the reports says "..as a consequence of the coalition invasion of March 18th 2003, about 655,000 Iraqis have died..".
Other frightening statistics are that:
2.5 % or 1 in 40 of the population have died as a result of the invasion.
The mortality rate has doubled.
Violent death now causes 55% of all deaths. Pre-invasion this was 2%.
Other reports suggest that 100 Iraq's are dying violent deaths every day.
