Conservatives and Labour unite to stop people of Suffolk having our say on new Nuclear Plants

Conservative and Labour Members of the East of England Regional Regional Assembly united to block a Liberal Democrat motion at EERA attempting to block the building of new nuclear plants in Suffolk. Cllr. Andrew Cann said "despite the conservatives saying they are green and see nuclear as being the last option they are uniting with the government to promote nuclear power and to block legitimate public debate and due process. Under the current proposals any public inquiry will be a sham with little opportunity for local people to have their say". On green issues they are saying one thing and doing another.
