Ipswich shortlisted for Street Cleaning Award

Cllr. Inga Lockington is proud of Ipswich' record on clean streets.

At a time when Suffolk has been singled out as being one of the untidiest areas of the country Ipswich has bucked the trend. The British Cleaning Council has shortlisted Suffolk as in the cleanest Borough category of their national awards. Local Lib Dem Councillor, Inga Lockington, who is responsible for Ipswich Streetcare has also recently launched the 'Big Cig' campaign designed to ensure smokers stub out their cigarettes responsibly.
