A mock up of a Uranium Fuel Pellet. This would not be safe with a real one!
A nuclear train passes through Ipswich at 17:10 on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday of every week.
These trains take spent fuel for reprocessing at Sellafield through some of the busiest parts of the Rail Network.
The International Atomic Energy Agency recognises the transport of nuclear material as the nuclear operation most vulnerable to terrorist attack or sabotage. Even the government's Environmental Audit Committee has warned of the risks of nuclear fuel transports.
