"Market Expansion is good for the town and well overdue".

Richard ATKINS, borough group leader and portfolio holder for economic development has guided through the expansion of Ipswich Market. The market will expand into Giles Circus and the lower end of Lloyds Avenue. The successful bandstand will also continue to operate.

Richard ATKINS says "The expansion of the market and provision of a bandstand will provide a boost to Ipswich Town Centre. I am proud to have led this improvement."
